Jamaica
Kemba Nelson, born 23 February 2000 in Montego Bay, Jamaica, is an international sprinter who represents Jamaica in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay. She developed through the Jamaican system before moving to the United States to compete for the University of Oregon, where she became the 2021 NCAA Indoor 60m champion.
Nelson has since progressed onto the senior global stage, contributing to Jamaica’s silver medal in the women’s 4x100m relay at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene. She also helped Jamaica win silver in the 4x100m relay at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
She continues to compete for Jamaica at major championships and is now represented by Astra Partners.
