Savannah Sutherland Signs Pro Deal with Adidas

Astra Partners athlete Savannah Sutherland has signed a professional contract with Adidas, marking the next step in her rise as one of the world’s leading 400m hurdlers.

The 21-year-old Canadian enjoyed a landmark 2025 season, winning her second NCAA 400m hurdles title and breaking the collegiate and Canadian national records with a time of 52.46 seconds — the ninth-fastest time in history. Her performance made her only the second NCAA athlete ever to break the 53-second barrier, following Olympic champion Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone.

Sutherland also impressed indoors, running 51.23 over 400m to set a new NCAA Indoor record and underline her versatility across both flat and hurdles events.

A 2024 Olympian and 2025 Bowerman Award finalist, Sutherland has consistently demonstrated world-class potential, combining elite-level results with a reputation for technical precision and big-race temperament.

Her deal with Adidas sees her make the transition to the professional ranks, where she will continue to compete at the highest level under Astra’s representation.

Astra Partners will continue to support her with high-performance planning, global competition management, and long-term commercial strategy as she targets podium success on the international stage.
