Savannah Sutherland (b. 7 Aug 2003) is a Canadian 400 m hurdler and one of the world’s brightest emerging talents. She holds the NCAA and Canadian national record at 52.46 s, set in June 2025 while winning her second NCAA title—becoming the only woman besides Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone to run under 53 seconds at that level. She also broke the NCAA indoor record with a time of 51.23 s.
Sutherland earned Olympic experience at Paris 2024, finishing 7th in the 400 m hurdles final. A bronze medallist at the 2021 World U20 Championships, she was a finalist for the prestigious Bowerman Award in 2025. Savannah is currently represented by Astra Partners and recently signed a professional contract with Adidas. Astra will support her with performance planning, competition management, commercial partnerships, and long-term career development.
