Astra Partners is pleased to announce the signing of Jamaican sprinter Kemba Nelson, one of the Caribbean’s most exciting sprint talents.
Born in Montego Bay, Nelson has progressed through the Jamaican track system and the US collegiate pathway, rising to prominence at the University of Oregon where she won the 2021 NCAA Indoor 60m title. Her performances in both short sprints and relay competition have marked her as a major contender on the global stage.
Nelson has already enjoyed success at senior level, playing a key role in Jamaica’s silver-medal performance in the women’s 4x100m relay at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene. She also collected a Commonwealth Games silver medal later that year as part of Jamaica’s 4x100m squad in Birmingham.
By joining Astra Partners, Nelson becomes part of a growing group of international athletes competing at the highest level of the sport.
Astra Partners is proud to support her continued development and looks forward to helping her achieve her ambitions across the global athletics circuit.
