Athlete Liaison
Ramon Clay (born June 29, 1975) born in Memphis, TN raised in Nashville, TN attended Norfolk State University where he specialized in the 200 meters. As a junior, Ramon won a silver medal (in the 400 meters) at the 1994 World Junior Championships, finished fourth at the 2002 IAAF World Cup. He became hte US Indoor Champion in 1998 with a time of 20.41, just missing out on the then American record by .01 seconds. He also became the US Outdoor Champion in 2002. He also competed at the 2001 World Championships, but suffered an injury in the semi-finals.
Ramon has worked alongside John Regis for over 15+ years to become one of the best sports agents in track and field. Ramon has been a valuable member of the team, adding his expertise to the overseas athletes, assisting with managing athlete affairs. Ramon resides in Miami, FL where he oversees day-to-day activity with John Regis for the North American and Caribbean clients.
