Zain Tahir is a promising young defender currently part of Sheffield United’s U18 squad. A left-sided player comfortable operating at full-back or in a back three, Tahir has impressed with his defensive maturity and composure in possession.
Born on 4 November 2006, Tahir joined the Blades’ academy as a scholar in 2022 and has since established himself as a regular in the U18s. His performances at youth level have seen him earn opportunities with the U21 side, where he continues to gain valuable experience.
Technically strong and tactically intelligent, Tahir is known for his versatility, left-footed delivery, and ability to support attacks from deep. His development through the academy ranks marks him as one to watch as he looks to make the step up to professional football.
