Biography

Sarah Calvert is a British middle-distance runner specialising in the 800m and 1500m. A former European U20 and U23 finalist, she represents Livingston AC and Edinburgh University Hare & Hounds and is coached by Luke Gunn.

She has personal bests of 2:00.32 for 800m, 4:08.14 for 1500m, and 4:28.40 for the mile. In 2024, Sarah completed the 800m/1500m double at the Scottish Senior Championships and has continued to show strong form across both indoor and outdoor seasons.

Sarah has represented Great Britain and Scotland at multiple international championships and was recently selected for the GB team at the World University Games. She joins Astra Partners with a growing reputation as one of Britain’s most exciting emerging talents over the middle distances.
