Quanesha Burks, born on March 15, 1995, in Hartselle, Alabama, is an accomplished American long jumper renowned for her impressive achievements in athletics. Burks first garnered attention for her athletic prowess at Hartselle High School, where she excelled in both track and field and basketball. She later attended the University of Alabama, where she continued to develop her talent under the guidance of esteemed coaches.

Burks’ career highlights include winning the gold medal at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Championships with a remarkable leap of 6.91 metres, a personal best at the time. She also clinched the NCAA Indoor Championship title in 2016. In addition to her collegiate success, Burks represented the United States at the World Championships in 2017, 2019, and 2022, showcasing her consistent performance on the global stage.

In 2021, Burks qualified for the Tokyo Olympics, where she placed 11th in the final, further solidifying her status as a top-tier athlete.
