Biography

Nathaniel Ford (born 18 April 2005 in Rotherham, England) is a goalkeeper for National League side FC Halifax Town.

Ford progressed through the youth ranks at Rotherham United, where he signed his first professional contract in April 2023. During his time in the academy he played a key role in the club’s run to the Youth Alliance Cup final, saving a penalty in the semi-final against Mansfield Town. After leaving Rotherham at the end of the 2023–24 season, he signed for Halifax on a free transfer in August 2024 following a successful trial.

Standing at 1.91 metres, Ford is recognised for his presence and shot-stopping ability. He made his first senior appearance for Halifax in the 2024–25 campaign and continues to develop his game at The Shay.
