Great Britain (GBR)
Laviai Nielsen, born on 13 March 1996 in London, is a celebrated British 400m sprinter. She represents Great Britain and Northern Ireland in various international competitions and has built a reputation for her speed and resilience on the track. Her journey in athletics began at a young age, and she quickly rose through the ranks, showcasing her potential on both national and international stages.
Laviai’s career is marked by significant achievements in both individual and relay events. She won a silver medal in the Women’s 4x400m relay at the 2017 World Championships and another silver in the 4x400m relay at the 2019 European Indoor Championships. In 2022, she secured a bronze medal in the Women’s 4x400m relay at the World Championships. The following year, at the 2023 World Championships, she added to her medal tally with a silver in the Mixed 4x400m relay and a bronze in the Women’s 4x400m relay (Wikipedia) (Home | Team GB).
