Heath Baldwin is a prominent American decathlete hailing from Kalamazoo, Michigan. He represents Michigan State University in collegiate competitions. Baldwin achieved significant success by winning the U.S. Decathlon Olympic Trials in 2024 with a personal best score of 8,625 points, marking the sixth-best score globally and the third-best all-time collegiate score (1077 WRKR) (Track & Field News).

Throughout his career, Baldwin has set several records, including a remarkable performance at the Mt. SAC Relays with a score of 8,470 points, which set a new Big Ten Conference decathlon record (Track & Field News). His achievements have earned him the distinction of being the first Michigan State Spartan to qualify for the Olympic decathlon since 2004 and the first athlete from Hackett Catholic High School to make it to the Olympics (1077 WRKR).

Heath Baldwin has qualified to compete in the decathlon at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
