Biography

Hayden Pickard (born August 23, 2005) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Barnsley in EFL League One. He has been with Barnsley since 2008, progressing through their youth system. Pickard was named Barnsley’s Academy Player of the Season for the 2020-21 campaign. He made his first-team debut on September 20, 2022, in an EFL Trophy match against Newcastle United U21. Though still early in his senior career, Pickard is seen as a promising young talent at Barnsley.
