Chris Mitrevski is one of Australia’s leading long jumpers and a standout figure on the international athletics stage. A Melbourne native, he began his athletics journey through Little Athletics and quickly developed into a world-class performer, combining explosive speed with elite-level technique.
A multiple-time national champion, Chris has represented Australia at major global events including the World Athletics Championships and the Commonwealth Games. In 2024, he produced the longest jump by an Australian in seven years, reaching a personal best of 8.32 metres at the Australian National Championships. That performance qualified him for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and elevated him to sixth on the all-time Australian long jump list.
Outside of competition, Chris balances his elite sporting career with work in media and enjoys time with his fiancée and their dog. Driven, focused and continually progressing, he remains one of Australia’s top medal prospects in long jump heading towards the next Olympic cycle.
