A product of Doncaster Rovers’ youth system before progressing through Barnsley’s Shadow Scholarship programme, Wilson’s impressive performances earned him a two-year scholarship with the club in 2024.

Known for his sharp reflexes, composure, and excellent shot-stopping ability, Wilson has quickly made a name for himself within the academy setup. His confidence in commanding his area and strong distribution skills mark him as a modern goalkeeper with plenty of potential.
