Lindon Victor completes Commonwealth hat-trick

Astra Partners athlete Lindon Victor has won men’s decathlon gold for Grenada at Glasgow 2026, securing his third successive Commonwealth Games title.

Victor carried a 148-point lead into the final 1500m after producing a 63.06m throw in the javelin and held off Canada’s Damian Warner to retain his crown.

The victory follows his triumphs at Gold Coast 2018 and Birmingham 2022, adding another major honour to the Olympic and World Championship bronze medallist’s career.
