Barnsley Goalkeeper Aston Wilson Signs with Astra Partners

Astra Partners are delighted to confirm the signing of highly-rated Barnsley FC goalkeeper Aston Wilson to our roster of emerging talent.

The 17-year-old has made a strong impression within Barnsley’s academy since joining on a two-year scholarship earlier this year, following standout performances during a successful trial period.

Wilson, who previously developed through the ranks at Doncaster Rovers, is known for his agility, composure and vocal leadership – all standout attributes for a modern goalkeeper. His progress at Oakwell has not gone unnoticed, with coaches praising his attitude and potential.

Astra Partners will now support Aston on and off the pitch, guiding his development as he continues his journey within the professional game.
