Astra Partners Welcomes New Zealand Sprinter Annalies Kalma

Astra Partners is delighted to announce the signing of New Zealand 400m sprinter Annalies Kalma.

The 22-year-old joins Astra following an impressive collegiate career in the United States with the University of Nevada, where she established herself as one of the leading sprinters in the programme’s history.

Annalies has enjoyed a significant rise over the 400m, highlighted by a New Zealand short-track record of 51.81 seconds. She has also broken the New Zealand short-track record over 200m and continued that form outdoors, producing a series of standout performances across both distances.

Her progression earned her selection for New Zealand at the World Athletics Indoor Championships, adding senior international experience to an already impressive NCAA career.

During her time at Nevada, Annalies became an NCAA All-American and concluded her collegiate career as the university’s indoor and outdoor 400m record holder, as well as holding the programme’s indoor 200m record.

Annalies now joins Astra Partners as she moves into the next stage of her athletics career, with the agency supporting her across competition, commercial opportunities and her continued development on the international stage.

Everyone at Astra Partners is delighted to welcome Annalies to the team and looks forward to being part of the next chapter of her career.
