Astra Partners proudly announces scholarship signings of Nathan Snowball and Olly Tonkin at Preston North End

Astra Partners is delighted to confirm that two of our promising young talents, Nathan Snowball and Olly Tonkin, have signed scholarships with Preston North End ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Defender Nathan Snowball came through the academy at Morecambe, where he made history as the club’s youngest ever first-team player, making his senior debut at just 16 in an EFL Trophy tie in November 2024. He also gained senior experience on loan at Morpeth Town and was named Morecambe Academy’s First Year Player of the Season for 2024/25. Nathan’s scholarship with Preston will lead into a two-year professional contract.

Fellow defender Olly Tonkin also developed at Morecambe, where his performances at youth level attracted attention from clubs in England and abroad. His move to Preston marks the next stage in his development, as he joins the club’s scholarship intake for the new season.
