Abigail Ives Called Up for GB & NI 800 m at European Team Championships

Astra Partners is delighted to confirm that Abigail Ives has been selected for the Great Britain & Northern Ireland 800 m squad at the upcoming European Team Championships.

Abigail has been in outstanding form, smashing her personal best in Belfast earlier this year with a time of 1:59.49—one of only a handful of British U23 women ever to break the two-minute barrier. This performance, along with her status as a European U20 silver medallist, has elevated her into the senior squad.

Her selection reflects a well-earned step up: from junior standout to trusted member of the national middle‑distance team. We look forward to her representing GB & NI, contributing valuable points in the 800 m—and cheering her on all the way.
